Char-Bo Campground wants all of our guests to enjoy their stay, but this also means that we have to set some basic policies that everyone must follow. We want you to enjoy your visit with us and feel at home, so for your enjoyment and the enjoyment of those around you, please read and observe the following Char-Bo Campground rules and regulations. Most of these are based upon common respect for fellow campers and our shared environment. Anyone violating these rules will be asked to leave, without refund.
Pet Policy
Char-Bo Campground, LLC is pet-friendly and welcomes campers who enjoy traveling and sharing their camping experience with the family dog/and or cat. However, to insure that all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable time, it is important that you read and abide by the following pet policy.

Aggressive dogs of any breed are NOT Welcome. If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers or other animals, please leave it at home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior, the campground owner or management will ask you to please find other camping accommodations. Certain breeds of dogs have been identified by our insurance provider as having histories of unfriendly and aggressive behavior to both other dogs and to humans. These breeds are Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes, Rottweilers, and Dobermans. PLEASE DO NOT BRING THESE BREEDS, AS THEY CANNOT BE ON OUR PROPERTY.

We encourage all dog owners to call in advance to inquire about any specific rules that might apply to their situation. We DO NOT allow pets in any Rental Campers.

All dogs are required to be under the control and visual observation of their owners at all times. A 6' (six foot) leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside the owner’s camping trailer, vehicle or motor home. The dog must be on a leash, and the leash MUST by in the owner’s hand. No dog shall be left tied up and unattended.

Allowing your pet to bark uncontrollably day or night will NOT be permitted, and you may be asked to leave if you are not able to control your pet’s barking behavior. (NO REFUND will be given.)

As always please clean up after your pet! (This is our number one guest complaint.) Please use the dog walk.

Service dogs of any breed are welcome. However, these animals must follow leash restraint policies and must not exhibit aggressive behavior.

Visitors and/or guests MAY NOT bring pets into the campground. Pets are allowed for registered transient and seasonal campers only.

Pet owners MUST provide proof of Rabies shots, vaccinations, and tags for all pets upon opening day (for seasonals) and for travelers upon registering.
